Q&A: What Equipment Do We Use?

One of the most frequent questions we get is: “What kind of equipment do you guys use?”. Probably, the reason why people want to know this is that nobody wants to spend a fortune on fancy stuff while you can get same results with cheaper equipment.

Well, that exactly how our approach looks like! To be honest, we’re not rich guys who can buy $5,000 guitars. Honestly, even if we could have such a possibility, we won’t.

We may say very common stuff here, but it’s not an expensive guitar or bass that will make you play better. It’s you hands and head. Anyways, people are trying to search for a magic bullet that will turn them into Yngwie Malmsteen overnight. Profitable for equipment sellers to make you think that way. On the opposite – not that great for you.

Guitars & Amps

Probably the most common question. How can a rock band exist without a guitar? While experienced guitarists know exactly what they want as the next guitar, or the one after the next, for novice players it’s often a hard choice. We suggest you check detailed guides from Guitar Counsel, a known authority in guitar world – they have reviewed best acoustic and electric guitars and came up with comparisons on what works best in different price ranges and for players of different skillset.

So, what about us, we use the following:

  • Fender American Elite Stratocaster
  • ESP USA Horizon-II Duncan
  • Gibson SG CM Black

Again, that’s just a list of we use. If you’re a beginner, it’s better to choose something else.

With bass it’s actually easier:

  • Fender Precision Bass

This one will work great for beginners and experienced players too.

  • Pearl Vision Birch Artisan II

Recent changes in concert dates

Just a heads up on recent shifts in tour schedule.

These were caused by the following problem: our equipment (guitars, amps, etc.) was held by US Customs for some time. The reason was paperwork that was submitted in a wrong way.

Currently we’re discussing with agents how we can fix this in a timely manner.

In the meanwhile you can find other concerts in you area on Ticketmaster. We will keep you updated on this issue, and in the meanwhile, we will post kind of Q&A based on feedback and emails we receive from you.
